Kevin Simon is a 1st year PhD student in the group of Prof. Oliver C. Kappe at the University of Graz and the Research Center Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE) in Austria. He received his BSc (2019) and MSc (2021) within the same group. His current research is mainly focused on development of continuous flow protocols for syntheses of industrially relevant molecules, which require hazardous reagents. Special emphasis is placed on fluorination processes where toxicity and corrosivity, and thereby safety, play a major role.
